Round two of Whoflakes (thanks for being so patient y’all)! (x)
This time with some trickier stuff to allure Time Lords with your obvious knowledge of Gallifreyan. Put his name in your window (left)! Or wish him a Merry Christmas (right)! The lines are for folding reference and should vanish after cutting.
Mind that for the upper one you simply cut along the lines, while for the Gallifreyan ones you leave everything that’s black (although I’m sure a reverse one would look cool as well). Also get a good knife. Trust me, it does make a huge difference especially with those detailed ones.
They should all fit on a A4 sheet, but fiddle with your printer’s margin and the size you want to end up with.
Round one: (x)
How I make them: (x)
Have fun and as usual, show me what you do with them!
Wonky first draft finished! Prettier version will follow when I’ve done some adjustments (the centre is too boring for my taste) and gotten knives for proper cutting so I don’t make so many spelling mistakes.
Printable pattern in the making!
Aaah, I’m afraid there’s only one set…
SO FAR.
It being Christmas and all that I am working on a new one, and as soon as I get paper and knives I will actually be able to test my designs.
But if you like them, may I suggest that in the meantime you look through the snowflake tag on my blog (and tell me which one you would like to see templated)?
I thought that since you people liked the Whoflakes so much and I got so many new followers I could thank you by treating you to some: I’ll give some away!
Good luck!
And by the way, if you don’t win or want a certain flake (or any motive) really really badly - I’m always happy to make it for you. Just not somewhere in the next few weeks, I’m afraid.

First pack of downloadable and printable Whoflake patterns: (x)
On special order and because I haven’t done any in ages. A few words of advice: The Cyberman is smaller than the rest, because it is intended for a smaller snowflake; the others will comfortably fit an A4 sheet. You might have to fiddle a bit before you get it printed properly for folding, but since that’s largely individual printing preferences I’ll leave it up to you. Oh, and mind the Ood’s tentacles. Just see how well you can cut before you accidentally slice their heads of. It makes for a very unattractive death. I lined it because it’s the the one where folding it properly is hardest, but the lines should all disappear with cutting.
For those who are interested, here is how I make the snowflakes.
And now, have fun! (And I’d love to see what you did with them!)
Snowflake patterns!
I made these to be used, so please, feel free to download, trace, print or abuse their quality (actually, I’d prefer if you didn’t do that though). These are reduced patterns, I strongly encourage you to add more stuff, otherwise they become very fragile and you can’t hang them anywhere.

Especially with the screwdrivers - I added all the round shapes to hold them, but it’s not exactly pretty.

My Whoflakes of 2011, all in one photoset.
At least, like, all of the nice ones. I keep the crappy ones for myself.
Maybe it will start snowing properly if I post enough of them?
Oh, and I’m actually working on a template thingy. Honestly.
