Lu, German, not seeing a point in growing up. Happy to meet you!

About me and my blog

So here’s how this works

I am a fan of a lot of things, and I tend to blog about them all.

Doctor Who helped me sort out my life and become the person I am, and I love it with all my heart. And though the Doctor might always be the same man, you will mostly find his tenth regeneration here.

Sherlock breaks my heart into little shards and then dances on them and is in general the best bit of television I have ever seen and ever want to see. In every aspect.

I also cherish Castle, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Supernatural and a bunch of others; if you look through my blog, you’ll see the various things, or you just look here to see what I’m currently watching. Special movie love goes to Shakespeare adaptations as well as the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I try to tag them all with their respective names, so if you’re looking for something specific or want to avoid something, you should be able to do so.

All those ridiculously attractive, funny, intelligent and overall flawless people also lend their glory to my blog outside of their roles and make it a lot prettier. If you want to relish in someone’s particular perfection, I tag them all with their names. Two men are excepted from this rule, because I am terribly thankful for their existence, and they deserve something special:

Benedict Cumberbatch got his tag straight from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - looks like even in Holmes’ old days he was fancied.

David Tennant mused on his pirate name, and a perfect description happened. It’s a relatively new tag though, so a looking for his name is also recommendable.

It’s not limited to actors, but those are obviously the ones most present. But I have just as much love for writers, musicians, artists, and generally fabulous people - it just might not show that much.

Then there’s fanart (which is usually also tagged with the respecive show), fine art, books and typography/calligraphy - a bit of culture to balance the fangirling. I also love Shakespeare with all his facets, get emotional over fonts or drool over fabrics. Because dresses (and accessories) are a special snowflake, and they get their whole day: On Fridays I post whatever I have collected over the week, from all times and places.

I dabble in pretty much everything myself, I make the occasional gif, more frequently graphics, I draw stuff and craft things and sometimes I even write a bit of fanfiction. Obviously you also find most of that stuff in the navigation at the top; including my deviantArt profile.

All in all there’s a certain degree of randomness, incoherent keyboard-smashing and tagvomit. I like words and life.

I enjoy starting every morning with a beautiful face and finding something to make me smile (or at times yell and jump around) every day; but since I have holidays at the moment this practice is more occasional. And if you want to know even more about me, come and talk to me!
